  • My now 14 year old daughter has been taking violin lessons with Autumn for almost two years and she has been so happy to have her as a teacher. When my daughter was 12, we were looking for someone to supplement what she was learning in her school orchestra, but found it a bit difficult to find the right teacher for her. We had tried one teacher out previously but it just wasn't the right fit- my daughter needed someone who wouldn't be too intense or make her more nervous or intimidated. Thankfully we found Autumn and she was the right fit. My daughter has grown in confidence and this year in her school orchestra she was chosen as section leader!   • "My 13 year old son has been taking violin lessons from Autumn for about a year. She is knowledgeable and skilled as a violinist and teacher. She relates well to my son. She uses a variety of methodology books (including but not exclusively Suzuki) which we like. Yet she is willing to put those aside and help him with current church or school orchestra pieces that he needs help with. She sets high but reasonable expectations for him. We’re very happy with the progress my son has made this year!"
